High Court stays government order to shut down Peace International School

The Kerala high court on Monday stayed a government order to shut down the Peace International School in Trichur. The court pronounced its interim judgment on a petition filed by the school management.

The high court judgment will be bound only for the Mathilakam school which approached the court against the government order.

The court has rejected the government claim that the school was shut down over the allegations of criminal activities. The government had directed the school to be closed down as per the Right to Education Act.
