State government backing terrorism, alleges Hadiya’s father   

KM Ashokan, father of Dr. Hadiya, on Tuesday alleged that the state government is supporting terrorism. Ashokan was responding after the Supreme Court ruled out that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) can’t probe Hadiya’s marriage with Shafin S Jahan, a Muslim youth.

The State Women’s Commission acted against my will and changing of the government counsel in the case is a testimony for that, said Ashokan.

V Giri, who had appeared for the state government in the Supreme Court, had been removed today while the case was heard by the apex court.
