VM Sudheeran, former KPCC chairman and Congress leader, has resigned from the UDF high level committee on Thursday.
Sudheeran’s resignation is learnt to be in protest against the UDF leadership against their decision to offer the Rajya Sabha seat to Kerala Congress. He informed the UDF leadership of his resignation by sending them an email in which he stated that he is no more interested to participate in UDF meetings and hence is resigning from the high level committee.
However, Sudheeran is yet to disclose the reason behind his resignation. Earlier, Sudheeran had launched a scathing attack against the UDF leadership over the Rajya Sabha seat controversy and had boycotted a UDF meeting in which KM Mani, chairman of Kerala Congress, participated.
