Antony says Rajnath Singh assured all support to Kerala

Former Kerala chief minister AK Antony, who is in Delhi leading a delegation from the state to meet union home minster, told reporters that home minister Rajnath Singh has assured all possible help for Kerala that was hit by the worst floods in decades.

Antony also said that the home minister has suggested that chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan should visit Delhi and meet him in order to finalize the measures to be taken for the post-flood rehabilitation in the state.

The delegation comprising congress MPs also called on other cabinet ministers including Radha Mohan Singh, Ram Vilas Paswan and JP Nadda.

The worst floods in a century in Kerala has so far claimed 483 lives and caused massive destruction.
