Amit Shah urges youths to not fall prey to social media propaganda against BJP

BJP President Amit Shah urged the youths in Gujarat today to not fall prey to the online propaganda against BJP spread on social media platforms including Facebook and WhatsApp. The BJP supremo’s statement came at a time when messages criticising the Gujarat model of development are circulating on social media in Gujarat where the assembly polls are on the cards.

Interacting with the youths in a program at ‘Yuva Townhall”, Amit Shah also criticised Congress and its vice president Rahul Gandhi over his criticism of BJP’s development claims during his visit to Gujarat.

Amit Shah delivered a talk on the history of Gujarat before and after 1995. The BJP came in power in Gujarat for the first time on 1995. Shah said that, during the rule of Congress, Gujarat witnessed a number of situations where the crucial 144 was enacted. The situation became normal in Gujarat after BJP came in power, Shah added.

Being asked questions by the audience, Shah also talked about issues such as implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), unemployment and demonetization. Shah also claimed that Narendra Modi government was successful in bringing commendable changes in the country during its three-year rule.
